Dum de dum....

I'm bored.  So what do I do? Act like every other computer nerd on the planet and write a new blog post.  That's sad.  But not as sad as the fact that I am doing so at 8:15 on a Saturday night.

That my friends, is sad.

Well, I am officially an employee of a potato farmer.  Depressing, much?  But I figure, if I'm gonna live in Idaho, I might as well live in Idaho.  So... I'm living it up!!!  It is really hard work even though it doesn't sound like it.  My job specifically is to stand for roughly eight hours a day at a conveyer belt and watch countless and I mean COUNTLESS potatoes (the first day we went through 7,200 potatoes... hmm okay so maybe you can count them...) go by and when there is a big one, I cut it on the little knife thing sticking out of the table.  Good times.  It's dirty, dusty and a little smelly but it gets me money right?  It's really not too, too bad but I can think of a lot more jobs I would like to have.  At least now I get to put that I have worked on a farm on my resume!!!

One of my new roommates, Erin has officially moved in.  No more apartment all to myself :( but she is really cool!  I think I will get along better with her than the previous ones!  We are still waiting on Bobby to move in though.  I wonder when she will get here seeing as that classes start on Monday...

Well... so much for the last, I don't know, three minutes of your life that you used so wastefully on reading this.  I should really get a more interesting life...  I'll work on that.

byyye.

I'M DONE!!!

Guess whaaaat?? I am no longer a freshman!! I am officially a sophmore in college!  This year went by really, really fast and I am glad it did!  This semester was so much fun and I'm super sad a lot of my friends are leaving for good!

I get the apartment all to myself for the next eight days.  I'm super excited about that.  I'll probably go nuts and micro-decorate it or something.  The fact that everyone is leaving was actually pretty much a blessing.  We got so much food that I am really hoping all I will need to buy next semester is milk to eat all the cereal we got with.  However, getting four containers of salt does not really get me anywhere.  I don't think I will ever need that much salt in a lifetime.  I chucked two of them.  We also got a ton of shampoo and stuff.  I'm really grateful for all of it!!

I am babysitting two plants, five fish and a turtle this week, also.  I've been petless for about eight months now and it's starting to bug me.  I think I might buy a 25 cent fish next semester.  Maybe.  I am broke you know.

Anyways.  This past week wasn't too bad with school.  My finals weren't to hard.  I felt like I had 75% less work than I did last semester which is nice and I did pretty well.  I am soo excited not to have classes for the next four and a half months!!  It will be a nice break.  I think I am going to go job searching today hopefully.  I really hope I can find a job!  I probably would be bored out of my mind if I didn't get one anyways.  I'm really glad I get to stay here!  I would be missing out on sooo much if I were to be home for forever!

Last weekend me and a couple friends drove down to Salt Lake to go to conference.  We stood in the stand-by line for all four sessions and got into three.  It was such a great experience.  I loved it!  In fact, I think I am losing quite a bit of my hostility for the state of Utah.  I even wouldn't mind serving a mission on Temple Square!

(Now that I think of it, maybe I should go back east....... ;))

But it was so much fun and for the Sunday morning session we were in the ninth row! It was really great to be that close to all the apostles and the prophet.  I'm so glad I went.  Here are some pictures from the trip:

From left to right is Kelly, Me, Lauren and Catlin.

Same girls except plus Monique.

Me and the Christus.  I look a lot bigger next to it than the one with Peter and I when I was like three!

Everyone coming out of one of the sessions.  There were SO MANY PEOPLE!

Haha this is me jumping off the water thing in front of the temple at 6:30 in the morning!

Well that's about it!!  I think I'll actually go get ready to go get some applications!
